Jill Drenth

MSW, LCSW – CLINICAL SUPERVISOR

Jill is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCS28979). She earned a B.A. in Psychology & Social Behavior from the University of California Irvine in 2005, as well as a Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California in 2008.

With 11 years in Community Mental Health, Jill has a wide array of experience working with various diverse and populations. Her years in community mental health involved working with the following: pregnant and parenting teens involved in the foster care system that had children under the age of five years old, sexual assault survivors, grieving children and teens, as well as adults who experience severe mental illness, substance use, and a chronic medical condition, in addition to their chronicity of homelessness, averaging 10-20 years on the street. Additionally, she has also provided anger management classes to court mandated folks as well as facilitation groups for somatic-based modality trainings.

With experience in both management and direct service, Jill is able to conceptualize treatment through the perspective of both large and small systems. She specializes in trauma/PTSD, anxiety, and grief. Jill is trained in grief counseling and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is Certified in the Trauma Resiliency Model (Somatic Therapy), Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and as an Anger Management Counselor. She is in the process of becoming trained and certified as a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) to provide evaluations for employees who have violated DOT drug and alcohol regulations to make recommendations concerning education, treatment, follow-up testing, and aftercare.

Jill enjoys mentoring and helping clinicians grow as professionals while working through a trauma-informed lens.
