Jessica Jimenez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW 95898). She has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach, and graduated with a Master’s in Social Work with an emphasis on Mental Health from the University of Southern California.

Jessica has always had a passion for helping others. She believes that everyone possesses strengths to overcome their own adversities. Her hope is that individuals can tap into these strengths and utilize them in a way that will allow them to live the life they desire. She has expertise in utilizing a strength-based approach where she aims to help individuals find their inner peace and abilities to overcome obstacles. She believes in providing a safe and comfortable space where individuals can experience unconditional acceptance and relinquish painful experiences.

Jessica incorporates relaxation and mindfulness, along with psychodynamic principles, that allow individuals to connect their past experiences with their present and make any necessary changes to live a happy and healthy future.

Jessica has experience working with adults, children, and families from culturally diverse backgrounds and presenting issues. Her work focuses on helping individuals address traumatic experiences, such as, but not limited to, domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual assault, as well as issues related to these experiences, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD. In addition, Jessica is trained in the evidence-based Nurturing Parenting Program and has helped system-impacted individuals address parenting concerns with the goal of cultivating healthier family practices and nurturing attachment.
