Cedrik Whittaker
ACSW, MSW — THERAPIST
Cedrik is an Associate Clinical Social Worker (125475ASW) with over a decade of experience serving Veterans, their families, and at-risk youth. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix and a Master’s degree of Social Work from Widener University.
With a special focus on helping Black men, Cedrik supports clients navigating the pressure to always be strong while silently carrying the weight of trauma, relationship struggles, and unmet emotional needs.
He also helps women healing from unhealthy relationships reframe their stories and rediscover safety, connection, and trust. Known for integrating humor into his sessions, he uses a comedic viewpoint to help clients tap into the power of laughter as a coping tool when life feels overwhelming.
Cedrik’s approach combines Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed practices, and resilience-based methods to address the effects of childhood trauma, military service, and relationship pain.
Having once been a teen with behavior issues himself, Cedrik has a natural ability to connect with young people who are struggling. He creates an environment where clients can lower their guard, speak openly, and rebuild confidence that leads to healthier, more fulfilling lives.
With warmth, empathy, and a deep respect for the strength it takes to ask for help, Cedrik walks alongside clients as they transform wounds into wisdom and restores their ability to thrive.
