Maria Vogel
LMFT, MA – THERAPIST
Maria Vogel is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT 124080). She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology & Religious Studies from the University of Redlands. She graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies.
Maria has experience working with couples, individuals, and children who have experienced trauma. She works collaboratively with clients to create a customized treatment plan considering ethnic, cultural, and religious experiences and perspectives to facilitate a holistic approach to their mental health.
Many of Maria’s clients experience anxiety, anger, and relationship issues. Her therapy style is heavily influenced by attachment theory and understanding how people learn to be in relationship with one another.
With over ten years of mindfulness and meditative experience, Maria teaches clients practical mindfulness tools to help them deal with anxiety or difficult emotions in the moment. Maria also infuses art and play in her therapeutic work.
Prior to working at K&S Therapeutic Services, Inc., Maria led eco-therapy groups for boys ages 6-8 and worked as a school counselor with children in Pre-K through high school.
